It has happened.
Sadie has fallen in love with our chickens.
She asks every day to let them out of the coop.
She picks them up and loves them.
Sadie even gives them tests.
Such as flying tests from the top of the swingset.
Slide tests, allowing the girls individually to go down the
slide flapping like crazy.
It is apparent that Sadie loves chickens.
She recently had a photo shoot with the girls and this
was one of her favorite pictures because it looks like
best friend chickens walking and talking.
One fine day last week the very first eggs were discovered in the coop.
Caleb is trying to keep his egg together for the picture after
dropping it within the first minute. That's a boy for ya, I suppose.
Everyday since our first egg Sadie has checked the coop before 7am
to look for more eggs.
Usually by 10am there is one and has been one consistently
for nearly a week now.
This is how our first eggs were prepared for the girls.
Kylie is the real egg eater and lover.
She could eat eggs every morning for breakfast.
