Sometimes it is beneficial to take a look at things
in a different light.
Just as others can advise me from a alternate point of view,
so can my children brighten my day as they
communicate from their viewpoint.
Here are some favorite people:
The stare from Dad.
Chris Bush.
Always called by first and last name in this house.
The best story teller of the Chris Bush, the Brave Knight tales.
He has even told them over the phone to my kids at bedtime.
He is also famous for The Chris Bush Show
which is him acting out different television stations
such as a cooking show, the dinosaur channel,
and so forth.
Unfortunately for us, Chris Bush is away at Grove City
for most of the year, but we get our fill in the summer.
I believe it was during the summer that my children
suddenly had an interest to tell jokes.
This may stem from Chris Bush.
Next here are some of Sadie, Kylie and Caleb's favorite things:
Cardboard boxes.
These are in high demand here at the Dawson house
and are recycled into houses for toy people, stuffed animals, and
just plain decorations.
Mat loves to burn all the boxes that are scattered throughout
the house every few weeks.
My kids love to recycle and turn many things into toys.
I love to see their creativity.
The kid games on the computer.
This is Catsy.
This well loved little cat was assembled by Sadie and
given to her sister. Kylie has taken such a liking to Catsy
that she brushes her, sleeps with her, dresses her,
and so much more.
This lovely blanket belongs to
Caleb Dawson.
This has been his Bubby for years now.
He needs this to have it when watching TV and
only sleeps with it sometimes now since he is "transforming"
into a bigger boy.
And I wish I knew more on my children's thoughts
about this picture.
Do they realize just how much they are in for a change come January?
I know much will change
less time with each of my children while caring for a new little one,
missing out on snuggle times because of nursing.
Being exhausted and teaching the now big brother how to love
a younger sibling.
Yet much is forgotten between pregnancies and
relearned again in a new way,
taught by a new teacher,
sent directly from God himself.
Favorite thing
Going to a diner at night and getting a booth by a window.
I like to see the reflections in the window at night.
