The time is rapidly approaching.

Feed the Need at our church next weekend.

Last year Sadie and Mat participated

and helped package thousands of meals

to ship around the world to 

those in need. 

This year I get to do this with my 

little girl.

It costs 19 cents for one meal to be packaged.

Just 19 cents.

Sadie loved this challenge last year and is 

looking forward to it again this year.

She has already asked what job she will 

be doing.  

Next week we will be identifying with

those we wish to feed through this

outreach by participating

in a hunger challenge.

By eating meals that are only 1 cup large

consisting mostly of rice, beans, or plain oatmeal

we will be reminded to pray often for those worldwide

who face these meals daily 

and are so grateful for them.

What a great way to prepare our hearts

for the Feed the Need event.

I look forward to all that the Lord 

has in store for all those who participate

in the events on this hill next week.

How will Christ use this in my little one's 

life?  I pray her heart beats to please her

Lord and that it draws her closer to 

God's heart.

That is how much it costs to package one meal.

We plan on packaging 100,000 meals

and in order to do so the total amount

to be raised is $51,000.

This money comes from donations and sponsorships.
