Feed The Need
Do we look excited?
Feed The Need was a blast!
I was thrilled to work with Sadie for the hour.
When she focuses, the girl accomplishes amazing things.
Sadie was fast!
We filled 20 boxes as a table.
In our session alone enough meals were packed
to feed 81 people for one year.
AMAZING!!!
All in all 1,651 people volunteered over the weekend.
The community showed up in masses and made up at least 50%
of all the volunteers.
292,248 meals were packed to feed 801 children for 1 year.
The goal of funding the meals was surpassed by $25,000.
We were able to send a trailer load of meals to Nicaragua
and some to Japan also.
Here's my team.
Not only were we quick, but we had a lot of fun serving.
Favorite thing
being part of a large, global outreach
to save lives
Very cool...it's so special that Sadie's of the age to REALLY get excited about helping others =: )
